決意

NOVAを離れてから、復習をするという習慣もなくなってしまった。
そして痛感するのはやはり勉強をしたら復習をしないとせっかく学んでも身にならないということ。
ここ数年は上達しているという実感がまったくない。
これではいけない。

復習の習慣を復活させようと思う。

残ポイントとVoiceチケット

残ポイントとVoiceチケットをカウントしてみた。
ポイントは残り72で内5ポイントはマルチメディアとして登録されているはず。
Voiceは残り15枚。

NOVAが再開されれば25%でレッスンが受講出来ると報道されているけど、この25%は何の25%なのかがまだはっきりしていない。ここでもういいやってNOVAへ戻らないとジー社の思う壺だという説もあるし（新規の顧客で英会話ビジネスを始めたいから）、戻ったら戻ったでまた新たにお金をだしてジー社の思う壺なのか。。。

mixi読んでたらNOVA生徒の会のURLがあった。

まだ作りたてみたいでページがほとんどないけど、生徒の会の活動状況がこれからわかるのかな。
私の残りポイントは大した事ないからいいけど、何百ポイントも残っている生徒は救済して欲しいって思うけど無理だよね。。。

自主Voice3

私のブランチでは生徒のボランティアにより自主Voiceが3回開催されていて、私は今までに1回目と今回の3回目に参加している。
講師たちはこんなに恵まれた環境は他にないといって喜んでくれている。郊外の小さなブランチなので生徒同士の結束も固いのではないかと思う。

14時から17時までの3時間で行われた。会費は2000円。
昨日新宿で行われたミーティングの結果が気になってか21名もの生徒が本日は参加した。
2つのチームに分けて、1時間半ぐらいのところで講師を入れ替えた。

始めは昨日のミーティングの話でもちきりになった。
36歳の社長が登場して10分ほど説明を行って質問は一切受け付けずに退席したらしい。ミーティングは5時間にも及んだのに講師やスタッフにとって知りたい情報は得られなかったみたい。ただ退社願の書類にサインをして、再雇用を希望する書類にサインをして、会社からの連絡待ちになったと言っていた。ただ一応今までの雇用条件は保証するとアナウンスがあったようなので、とりあえず一安心かな。

今回は新たにL3の生徒が加わって3名でのレッスン。
ベテラン先生ってやっぱり最高#%V:183%#
こんなに充実した内容の濃いレッスンが受けられるなら別にNOVAが再開してもしなくてもどっちでもいいかも。

1時間目はTravelling by airタイトルのReading。
ベテラン先生のすごいところはこのただのつまらなそうなReadingに肉付けをして膨らますところ。

Readingで内容を確認した後に、プリントを裏返して生徒の言葉で内容をもう一度確認した。彼のレッスンのポイントはとくかく話せるようになることに重点が置かれている。

2時間目はTravel Guideの3都市を各生徒でそれぞれ選んでプリントの内容を確認後に説明した。
上海、スペイン、NY、で私はNYになった。

レッスン内容は2つに分かれているが1時間目が1時間以上かかったので2時間目は30分～40分ぐらいだった。でもあらかじめ予想した時間配分だったのかちゃんんときれいにレッスンが終わった。

会社更生法の申請のためNOVAが閉鎖されてから早1週間。バタバタした1週間だった。
まず閉鎖された金曜のに朝一でレッスンを予約していたNOVA友からメールが来た。
「NOVA閉鎖されているよ！とりあえず今は先生たちとお茶してる。」
大学生は暇でいいな～と思いつつ私もその日は全く仕事が手に付かず、出来る限りのNOVA友と連絡を取り合い翌日の土曜日に集合した。講師も数名参加して今後について話をした。
講師は連絡先をみんなにお知らせしてそれぞれでプライベートレッスンをお願いしようってことになった。この騒動で思ったのは、日本人ってやっぱり素晴らしい！私たちだって残ポイントによって個人差はあれども被害者。でも誰一人としてそのことに嘆く人はおらず、講師たちの生活の心配をしていた。

そして今日は初のプライベートレッスン。せっかく講師を選べるのだからもちろんベテラン先生にお願いして、最近L3の推薦状をもらった生徒さんとグループ（と言っても二人だけど）になり2時間のレッスンを受けた。さすがはベテラン先生でとても充実したレッスンだった。

まず1時間目はイディオムについて。
proverbs(ことわざ)とphrasal verbs(句動詞)があるが、日常的に使われるのはphrasal verbs。
ベテラン先生が教材を準備してコピーしてきてくれた。例文を用いながら各イディオムを勉強して行った。

DVDを持って来てくれたがポータブルDVDプレイヤーが充電不足で2分半ぐらいの内1分ぐらいで電源が落ちた。宿題にとそのDVDを渡してくれたので、自宅で観ることにした。

でもきちんとプリントを作成してくれていたのでそれを元にレッスンをした。
あらすじを確認して、評論が悪評か良評そしてさらに評論の内容を確認した。
